It represents the process of bringing people to their maximum or optimal physical, physiological and psychosocial capabilities. The main goals that guide the implementation of the rehabilitation are:preventing hendicap-disability, rehabilitation of the handicapped to compensate and adapt to the existing medical condition. Our priorities are to improve life quality and training for daily living activities.<\/p>\n

While implementing the rehabilitation program, we are using all types of physical therapy in combination with balneological characteristics of natural mineral water and clay. The Department for Adult Rehabilitation is located on the first floor of the Hospital and has a capacity of 70 beds. The program for extended residential rehabilitation services offers all patients a 24-hour medical supervision, which includes consultative, therapeutic procedures prescribed by physical medicine and rehabilitation, accommodation and meals at the hospital\u2019s restaurant. This type of organization allows providing complete health services to all our patients. Our service mission is a complete patient satisfaction with the services provided and objective rehabilitation results. The Special Hospital “Bukovi\u010dka spa” is one of six institutions in the Republic of Serbia which is performing extended inpatient rehabilitation of children and young adults. This Hospital offers the rehabilitation of children for more than 20 years. Rehabilitation of children is training of children until they reach their full physical, mental, social and occupational maturity, which they can attain using their individual abilities and capabilities.<\/p>\n
